Having completed Medicine with Honours at Sydney University, Bernard trained in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care at Royal Prince Alfred., Royal North Shore and Nepean Hospitals. Prior to finishing his Anaesthetic training he completed a research project on spinal cord effects of pain with a focus on chronic pain and it’s prevention and treatment.

He now works in a number of large and small Sydney Hospitals with interests in Orthopaedic, Obstetric and Ophthalmic surgery. Bernard’s training and experience have given him an understanding of how different we all are and an appreciation that individual patients have different needs and requirements. As a result he knows many people come to the operating theatre with anxieties around surgery or anaesthesia. With this in mind, Bernard will be ready to address your questions and concerns.
